lag is real

i was being lazy but still could see abs. weeks later, they were gone.

we were growing fast, but i was not posting as much. months later, growth slowed.

in both cases, i thought i was good because there were no immediate consequences. things take time to compound and to take effect.

this is often longer than i would think.

that means this applies to positive things as well.

in the case of posting, we were trying to experiment with marketing, and didn't see a decline after pausing certain initiatives.

the same happens when you start posting. we were told by someone that if we posted for 2-3 months, we'd see results. he was right. it compounded. a lot.

this applies to everything.

it's been one of my strongest understandings that has contributed to building discipline and patience.
