my name is arun khemani. i was born on january 5th, 2003. i spent the first 5 years of my life playing chess. i became a national chess champion and then quit because i wanted to play outside. i spent the next year exploring hobbies and making friends. then i moved to india from california for a year. i spent 2nd grade in 3 schools. then i moved schools in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. my parents had gone from 0 to doing well in US then back to 0 when taking care of family and are now multi-millionaires. i then did some creative stuff like destination imagination and a game dev class, and met one of my best friends whos one of my cofounders today. we played a lot of minecraft, especially skywars and uhc. i got a concussion and skipped finals in 6th grade. i spent a lot of time with my brother. i also met the guy whos my other cofounder today.

high school was interesting. i found my closest friends, dated, played video games, played basketball, did decent in school. with the same guy i met in destination imagination, i got into reselling and then stocks. made a discord community, which was my first llc. i did a few weeks in stanford over the summer. i blew some reselling money trading options. selling calls one day before they went up 60x. i chose to major in finance and wanted to make money and be a great investor.

college is where i found some more close friends, met my girlfriend, made tons of mistakes, and got my shit together. i started a chess club before i got onto campus. played chess and then taught some. i got scammed by a 60 year old who put me on profit share then blocked and ghosted me right before launch. my girlfriend would hear our calls and always found it funny as fuck that i was starting a company with this old ass asian dude. the omelettes at my college were gas. i went out and got a glimpse into the typical college experience. honestly had some great nights out. met my girlfriend during one of them. traveled around new england. went to puerto rico. went to israel for a summer internship in vc. had the time of my fucking life. worked for the largest family office network. started some other startups with this cool guy i met on campus. one of them is still running. played a lot of catan and poker. gambled on tennis at 3am with my roommate. someone i knew died on the senior trip. that was really sad.

i had finished all but 2 classes by december, so i went home to focus on my business. we launched in august before the semester and i wanted to full time it. i signed up for the classes but never really opened them. i talked to a teacher a week before they ended seeing if i could make everything up since it was async. she was pissed and said im going nowhere. i agree that i shouldve either not signed up or finished them, but she was getting personal. after an hour long lecture, she asked how the business was doing. i told her 35k. she said a year or a month. i told her a month. she asked how much id take home. i said 10k. she was shocked. she asked if it was legitimate lol.

i still walked at graduation because i met the threshold of having less than 7 credits left. it made my family happy and im glad i did it. also my family got to meet my girlfriends family. this was very important.

i love building crackd. btw it is not pronounced crack dee. idk how some people think that. the future of the universe is uncertain. my future is uncertain. but i do know, i will do something great. sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is very fucking hard. most of the time i have no idea how to do what i have tasked myself with doing. most of the time i have no idea what the next steps are. but i look back. everything led up to this.
